This framed artwork is the companion design to our copper squirrel and crystal wall art. A finely sculpted squirrel in polished gold-tone copper is arranged with a piece of natural white crystal, mounted against a deep black background and finished in a warm wood frame.
The three-dimensional composition gives the piece real depth, and the contrast between the bright metal, white crystal and dark background makes it stand out on any wall. The squirrel has a lively, playful pose that brings a touch of nature and charm into the home.
It is designed to hang alongside its matching piece, creating a balanced pair that works well above a console, beside a doorway or in a reading corner. It can also be displayed on its own on a narrow wall, a shelf or a picture ledge.
The piece suits living rooms, studies, bedrooms and children’s rooms, and pairs nicely with warm wood, copper and natural textures. The squirrel is often associated with preparation and abundance, making it a thoughtful housewarming or family gift.
Because the crystal is natural, its shape and size vary slightly from piece to piece. Dust the frame and glass with a soft, dry cloth, and avoid hanging it in direct sunlight or damp areas such as bathrooms.
