This wall art features a horse and chariot carved in relief on a fragment-shaped panel of ivory stone resin, a motif drawn from ancient Greek and Roman friezes that celebrated movement and triumph. The weathered edges and soft texture give it the character of a recovered artefact.
A deep black frame sets off the pale relief like a museum exhibit. Hang it in a living room, hallway or study, alone or grouped with the other framed reliefs in the series for a classical gallery wall.
Its neutral palette suits classic and modern interiors. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.
It makes a thoughtful gift for lovers of horses and history.
