This wall art presents a classical scene of several figures, carved in relief on a wide, fragment-shaped panel of ivory stone resin. The composition recalls the friezes that decorated ancient Greek temples, with figures in flowing drapery arranged across the panel.
Set within a deep black frame, the pale, textured relief stands out with striking clarity. Its landscape format makes it ideal above a console, sideboard or sofa, or as the centrepiece of a gallery wall with the other reliefs in the series.
Its neutral palette suits classic, modern and minimalist interiors. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.
It makes a meaningful gift for lovers of classical art.
